Our Concept
Kung-Fu Sweden is a global, virtual center for Chinese martial arts, philosophy, health and traditional medicine systems. Our base is in Sweden but all of the world is our playing field. Within these pages you will find international seminars, courses, articles and other resources for training activities, including (but not limited to) Kung-Fu, Tai Chi Chuan, Qigong, Meditation, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Chinese Yoga and Reiki.
Our Policy
Kung-Fu Sweden is an international meeting place for martial arts and health promoting training.
We strive to hire instructors/masters of the highest quality, and host seminars for reasonable prices.
Kung-Fu Sweden maintains an openness to all styles and people. Seminars and courses are open to everyone, regardless of style, advancement in the martial arts, age, gender and ethnicity. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. We also colaborate with Swedish training and education organizations Medborgarskolan and Aktiv Ungdom.
Kung-Fu Sweden aspires to be independent, but not without a sense of direction and opinions.
Why Kung-Fu Sweden?
Around 2003, after several years of experience with arranging training and seminars for a variety of martial arts, Malmö Wing-Tsun school started Kung-Fu.se/Kung-Fu Sweden in an effort to host inspirational training events in Sweden for all who wished to participate, and bring international instructors there to further the Swedish development in the martial arts.
The website acted as a Swedish Internet database and center for chinese culture, martial arts and philosophy. After a successful six years as the leading organizer of Kung-Fu seminars and training camps in Sweden, eventually hosting atleast one major training event with prominent, international instructors every month of a given year, Kung-Fu Sweden decided to go global in 2009.
With an already expansive, international network of instructors and partners, Kung-Fu Sweden continues to organize high quality events with esteemed experts in martial arts and health promoting training, but no longer confined to locales in Sweden.
The goal of Kung-Fu Sweden is now to export its successful concept to the rest of the world.
